Achievers University, Owo 2017/2018 Admission into UTME/Direct Entry/JUPEB Screening

Suitably qualified candidates are invited for screening for admission to the following programmes: 


(i) B.Eng. Biomedical Engineering 
(ii.) B.Eng. Computer Engineering 
(iii.)B.Erig. Electrical & Electronics Engineering 
(iv.)B.Eng. Mechatronics Engineering 
(v.) B.Eng. Telecommunications Engineering 

All programmes are approved and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). 

General Requirement

(i.) Candidates are required to have sat for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a minimum score as approved by NUC and JAMB. 
(ii.) They must also obtain a mmum of five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC (sscEy NECO (SSCE) or NABTEB. These should include English Language. Mathematics and three othet subjects relevant to the course of study. 

As for A (ii.) above, but with 2 or 3 subjects at A Level or JUPEB exam or HND or ND or NCE or ATS results in relevant discipline. 
Candidates are also expected to have purchased the Direct Entry JAMB form. 

For B.Eng. in the Engineering programmes, candidates shall, in addition to A(ii.) above, 
1. obtain at least three A Level passes in (Grades A-D) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry; OR 
2. hold National Diploma (Upper Credit) in Engineering. 

Candidates for these programmes should be holders of HND in their respective fields of study. HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics is acceptable for Computer Science. This is in addition to (II.) above. 

Candidate who sucessfully complete this ONE-YEAR programme, after examinations administered by Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), will gain Direct Entry admission to 200 Level Degree Programmes of Achievers University and other universities in Nigeria.

The University, through highly qualified tutors, provides intensive lectures inrelevant subject combinations in line with JUPEB syllabus.

Admission Requirements:
Eligible candidates must possess a minimum of five credits obtained at not more than two sitting in WAEC (SSCE) or NECO (SSCE)

Note: Candidate should visit the University website ( for details about available programmes in the university and the required subject combination.

How to Apply:
Candidates can process admissions by: 

1. Downloading the forms from the University website, or 
2. Obtaining the forms at Achievers University. Owo or any of the screening centres. 

Candidates are to pay a sum of N5,500 (UTME/Direct Entry) at Ecobank Plc -Account No.5282011354 or N5.000 (for JUPEB) at Union Bank Plc -Account No. 0043603685 or at any of the Screening centres. 

However, candidates who those Achievers University in their UTME and Direct Entry forms should attend the screening exercise with N1,000 fee.
