NSE Oluyole holds maiden lecture today

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Oluyole Branch, will hold the maiden edition of the Ifedayo Akintunde Engineering Lecture at the Felicia Hall, JOGOR Centre, Ibadan, Today.
According to the chairman of the branch, Mr Ademola Agoro, the lecture, which would be held annually, was organised to honour Mr Akintunde, who has contributed immensely to engineering in the country, having reached the peak of the engineering profession and served as vice president of the World Federation of Engineers.
The lecture, with the theme “Building multipurpose water infrastructure from small, medium and large dams in Oyo State: Roles of academics, industrialists and the government,” is expected to bring together the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr Isaac Isola, vice chancellors of the University of Ibadan, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and the Technical University
as well many industrialists.
